How To Get To Ban-awan Falls

From Tacloban Central Terminal, ride a bus or jeep going to Lawaan or Guiuan. Buses and jeepneys bound for Guiuan will pass by the town of Lawaan. A faster and rather more convenient option is to ride a van from any of the van terminal in downtown Tacloban (either Duptours or Van-Van's). The best time to visit the falls is early morning. Begin your hike around 6:00am. Bring snacks and lots of water.
The best time to take photos is early between 8:00am to 11:00am when the sun is on the east.
