Rizal province has lots of falls and one of the majestic falls is Daranak Falls, located in Tanay. It is a developed nature park that can cater to youngsters to our senior tourists who want to experience Mother Nature's beauty. From developed road networks, erected huts, available stores, and multilevel function halls, this spot would engage your entire barkada or family. The main cascade of the waterfalls is a sheer drop of 14 meters to a deep icy cold catchbasin for bathing. If not swimmer, best to don lifevest. There are footbridges that connect both sides of the park.

Daranak Falls is open every day from 8:00AM to 5:00PM. With an entrance fee of Php20.00 for adults and Php15.00 for children. The picnic table is optional but if you want to rent you need to shed Php100.00 for it. And take not, Daranak Falls isn't offering overnights. How to get to Daranak Falls?
(For Public Transportation) From Starmall EDSA
Ride a UV Express bound to Tanay Php70.00 or catch a jeepney bound to Tanay Php.53.00, and get off at Tanay Public Market. At the terminal, you can ride a tricycle and tell to bring you directly to the falls for Php200.00. You can bargain for the return trip as no tricycles are waiting near the falls. You will have to take a hike to the main road to get a ride back to the market. Checks your brakes as you will pass by rocky steeps road. You will arrive at the parking area of Daranak at the end of this road. You have to pay for parking, entrance fee, and cottages. Overnight stay is not accommodated.
(For Private Vehicle)
Just follow the road going to Laguna from Antipolo. At the Daranak-Tanay junction, turn left and head straight uphill. You will see a sign " To Daranak Falls" on the left side of the road. You have to turn left here. It's hard to miss since there are several fruit stands on both sides, which sell fruits in season. Once you turn left, just go straight, passing by several farms (poultry and hogs) which you will notice by smell...
