Talipanan Falls during the summer months |
Talipanan Falls is one of the three waterfalls in Puerto Galera being visited by tourists of this long stretch of shoreline on their beach bumming escapades. Being the closest to the shore, Talipanan Falls is more accessible than Aninuann Falls; Tamaraw Falls is the easiest to reach because of its location close to the Western Nautical Highway.
How To Get to Talipanan Falls
Trekking to Talipanan Falls from Talipanan Beach takes 45 minutes depending on your pace. You will pass through the Mangyan Village and streams have to be waded. It is best to hire a guide at the village before proceeding. The thirty-meter tall waterfall that drops into one meter deep murky pool is surrounded by lush tropical forest.

The waterfall is a two-tiered fall and best visited in the morning to avoid the crowd. There were reports that monkeys dwell in the area early in the morning when it is not crowded. Also, wear footwear when swimming in its shallow basin because of sharp rocks at the bottom.
